WMT COMPANY
"Advantage through experience"
This guiding principle shapes our daily development work.
As a company with its own forestry vehicles, we know the practical requirements and peculiarities at first hand. We integrate this understanding directly into the development process, thereby producing practical products for practical use.
WMT RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We set new standards through investments in research, permanent further training of our employees and our own developments. It is part of our philosophy to remain at the cutting edge of technology at all times. Some projects at a glance:
- Various research projects have been completed over many years of close cooperation with the MOBIMA (Mobile Working Machines) branch of the KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). Our careful use of resources and developments to increase the energy efficiency of machines are our contribution to environmental protection.
- EBSS – A FUNDING PROJECT OF THE GERMAN FEDERAL ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION (DBU)EBSS – A FUNDING PROJECT OF THE GERMAN FEDERAL ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION (DBU)
Funding topic: Electrohydraulic demand flow control with hybrid function to increase the energy efficiency of forestry machines. Our contribution to the environment: Energy savings of 10-20 % compared to load-sensing systems. - RATIOPLUS STEERING SYSTEM
The intelligent steering technology is a step up from the tried-and-tested ratio steering system and combines the positive features of self-steering and forced-steering technology. The steering system is controlled centrally via the clearly laid out DOLL tronic® control panel in the cab. In practice, this means: more safety, more stability and driving pleasure. - TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF DRESDEN
Adaptive model-based fault detection and diagnosis with reconfigurable electrohydraulic systems. Intelligent control and precise positioning of mobile large-scale manipulators to enable automated work processes.
WMT PRINCIPLES
Experience
Complex forestry machines from Weiß Holzentrindung have been in use for 40 years. The resultant experience, the tasks that had to be solved and the challenges that we had to face determine our daily work. More than 20 years ago, we still produced the first programmable controls ourselves and automated the first functions in the machines. We use this background for our customers and implement projects in such a way that all participants benefit.
Technology
We realise our enthusiasm for technology, coupled with the necessary instinct for which trends add value to mobile machines, in our products and services.
Quality
We have advanced test possibilities, version manage-ment and project management to a very high level by investing in test benches and software. The development of simulation models for the machines opens up new possibilities to further improve the quality of the software and to simplify development, commissioning and service.
Team
Respectful and familiar interaction with our employees has long been a matter of course at Weiss Mobiltechnik. The high motivation and flexibility of our employees are the basis for our understanding of service.
Partners
When developing complex software, we rely on high-quality and state-of-the-art hardware. There-fore, close contact to our suppliers and cooperation based on partnership are an important basis of our work.
